  • Certified as a PADI Enriched Air Diver, or qualifying certification from another training organization. For this course, a qualifying certification is proof of training in enriched air nitrox diving with training that includes gas analysis, cylinder labeling, oxygen toxicity, oxygen exposure, determining maximum depth limits, and planning enriched air dives with different enriched air blends (not just EANx32 and EANx36)

  • Certified as a TEC 40 diver or provide a qualifying certification from another training organisation. For the purposes of this level, a qualifying technical certification is one that qualifies the student to make limited decompression dives to 40metres using air and EANX using open circuit scuba equipment.
  • Minimum of 50 logged dives of which 12 dives were made with Enriched air nitrox deeper than 18 metres/60 feet and at least 6 (with or without EANx) dives deeper than 30 metres/100 feet.

Prerequisites

  • Certified as a TEC 45 diver or provide a qualifying certification from another training organisation. For the purposes of this level, a qualifying technical certification is one that qualifies the student to make decompression dives to 45 metres/145 feet using air, EANx and oxygen using open circuit, double cylinder scuba equipment.

Students who meet this prerequisite through a qualifying certification must provide proof of training in CPR and FIrst Aid within the previous two years.
  • Minimum of 100 logged dives, of which at least 20 dives were made with enriched air nitrox deeper than 18metres/60 feet, and at least 15 (with or without EANx) dives were deeper than 30 metres/100 feet.
  • Minimum of 18 years old.

Tec 85 Trimix

Course Time: 4 days, 5 dives

Cost based on 2 people (price per person): €750

The course extends their depth range capabilities by training them in the use of trimix (helium, oxygen and nitrogen). This course lets the diver go deeper, opening up the option of using travel gases and trimix with less than 18% oxygen content. Dives during the course can be as deep as 90 metres/300 feet. Once qualified, the diver can start to explore deeper; for this reason there is no numbered suffix after the course title as in the rest of the range – there are no limits placed on how deep the diver can go after training, providing they build their experience gradually.

Prerequisites

  • Certified as a TEC TRIMIX 65 Diver or equivalent.
  • Certified as a PADI Rescue Diver or provide a qualifying certification from another training organization. (For this course, a qualifying certification is proof of training in diver rescue. Students who meet this prerequisite through a qualifying certification must provide proof of training in CPR and FIrst Aid within the previous two years. )
  • Certified as a DSAT TEC Deep Diver or equivalent certification in deep decompression diving using air/enriched air from another training organisation.
  • Minimum of 150 logged dives.
  • Medical form signed by a physician in the last 12 months.
  • Minimum of 18 years old.
