With the island being only 1/3 of the size of Malta, nothing is far away. This is great for diving as, if you are very unlucky and there are strong winds, your holiday is not spoilt, as it would be in mainland locations. This is because sheltered conditions on the far side of the island are at worst only a 20 minute drive away, always giving us somewhere good to dive. Gozo has a wonderful climate, beaches and a rich heritage. English is the main language and cars drive on the left side of the road, giving Gozo a sense of home away from home for the British holidaymaker. Gozo is less expensive than nearby Malta and a lot less bulit up. The pace of life here is much slower and the locals are extreemly friendly and laid back.
The dive sites include the world famous Blue Hole and Inland Sea. Cathedral Cave, Reqqa Point, Billinghurst Cave, Shrimp Cave, Coral Cave, Double Arch Reef, Mgarr ix-xini, Xlendi Cave, Fungus Rock, Comino Caves and Alexander Cave are also exceptional. There are also three wreck dives on Gozo - the Karwela and the Comino Land have been added to the purpose sunk ferry (the Xlendi), as underwater attractions. We also run regular boat trips to the wreck of the P29, the Rozi, Popeye's Barge and the other wrecks on nearby Malta.
Marsalforn
Marsalforn is the major resort on Gozo, the location for the Scuba Kings dive centre and also a great place to stay. With over 30 licensed restaurants and plenty of bars, there is no shortage of choice for nights out. With a meal in a restaurant costing from as little as €4.50 (£3.50) and a pint of beer from €1.20 (£0.95) it's a great place to eat out and enjoy the relaxed apres-dive evenings.
Ramla bay beach was rated by the Sunday Times as being in the top twenty beaches in Europe. This natural red sandy beach has a gentle slope and is perfect for all the family. Restaurants and facilities are situated by the car park and behind the beach are swathes of dunes and mature tamarisk trees.

At Hondoq bay there is a gently sloping beach and plenty of facilities, the snorkelling is great and plenty of fun is to be had joining in with the locals jumping in off the pier walls. The view is stunning, you look across to the Blue Lagoon on Comino and you can even see Malta on the other side.

A day out to visit the best of Malta. Valletta and Medina are full of amazing history. Read 'The Great Siege, Malta 1565' by Ernle Bradford before you get here and Valletta will be fascinating.

Gozo has a very slow pace of life and has ideal places to unwind with a book or enjoy a coffee at a restaurant and watch life go by.
